Freedom Soccer Tournament and Kansas City Wizards
Creating a Good Will
and Building Bridges

The Kansas City Wizards and Nike will create an international
presence if they help train and prepare Iraqis
for the Olympic Games.
The
tournament will give the Iraqi team enough play
time to be ready for the pre-Olympic games.

The Wizards and Nike have the unique opportunity
of hosting the Iraq Olympic Team
Obligations of Sponsor
The
Wizards would plan a practice tournament to help Iraq
get ready for the pre-Olympic games. The practice tournament
would include and invite USA teams from around the U.S.
and Canada to play. The Freedom Tour!
Wizards/Nike
would have a specific person in place to coordinate
with Dr. Ali Al-Obaidi. Dr. Al-baidi is coordinating
with Wizards, Halliburton, Adidas and the Iraqi Olympic
coaches and dignitaries.
Wizards/Nike
would provide a schedule of games in the tournament,
and coordinate and sign on the competing teams and schedule
and produce all the advertising surrounding the tournament.
Other
sponsor of the Iraq Olympic Soccer Team will provide
housing, and living expenses.
Wizards/Nike will provide souvenir
accessories to be sold at events
Profits from sold accessories
will be reinvested in team |

Iraqi
athletes will be taking a significant step in history
when they step onto the field in a National Championship,
for the first time since 1990. These will be historical
events, and give great hope to Iraqis. The athletes
will be heroes.
With
the Wizards/Nike participation in making this a reality,
they will also benefit internationally and in the United
States.
This
historic, innovative sports tournament to be held in
the United States, undoubtedly would draw attention
and be newsworthy
The
Wizard/Nike will receive countless hours of positive
exposure as sponsor of these historical sporting events.
Iraqis
will see that a New Iraq can be a source of pride
It
is possible the events will receive full coverage from:
CNN
BBC
Al
Jhirzira
Arabic
and European Channels
Because
of its historical significance, a lot of national
news coverage would be expected

Al
Sabbour International Services staff will work with
Nike to oversee and organize all events so that they
are professional, with the goal to establish Nikes
good will in and outside of Iraq and be of great benefit
and a source of joy for the Iraqi people.
Founded by Dr. Ali Olbaidi,
Al-Sabbour International Services located in Iraq-Baghdad-
al-mnsour.
He will coordinate all the
activities related to the sport events inside Iraq and
other countries
Dr. Al Olbaidi will coordinate
every facet of the Nike /Iraqi Sports Tournament
As consultant, Al-Sabbour will
manage the sponsorship of these events.
Dr. Ali Olbaidis will
coordinate all the events and the sponsorship in conjunction
with PR staff from Nike.
He will be the primary coordinator
between the parties

| The
appointed committee of the New Iraqi Authority,
in June contacted Dr. Ali Olbaidi to see if there
were any interest in Halliburton sponsorship,
and if they would work with him to coordinate
sponsorships. Dr. Al Olbaidi was a soccer player
in and after college in the 70s and 80s
and stays connected and active with the Iraqi
Sport Community. |

Dr.
Al-Obaidi has a successful background in family farming
and small business practices. He is Chairman
and Founder of Al-Sabbour. Al-Sabbour is dedicated to
rebuilding the infrastructure of Iraq, through its offices
in Baghdad and Basra. He works closely with American
Companies to provide materials, products and personnel
for reconstruction of Iraq. Dr.Al-Obaidi was born and
lived in Iraq until 1985 when he began graduate studies
in the United States. He completed a Masters and Ph.D.
program and since then has worked for 10 years in the
U.S., while often visiting Iraq.
